Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky reiterated calls for the quickest Western arms shipment to Kiev, saying Russia should not be allowed to buy time for its aggression, while Ukrainian forces have faced numerous attacks across the front line.

We must accelerate. We need speed in the deal, speed in the shipment.... Speed in decisions to limit Russian potential”, Zelensky said at the Munich Security Conference.

Zelensky said that while Western states were debating over the delivery of tanks to Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin was thinking of ways to make <x0fage” near Ukraine, Moldova.

It is obvious that Ukraine will not be its last stop. He will continue his movement until the end... including all other states that were at one time part of the Soviet bloc”, Zelensky said. Moldova's president, Maya Sandu, said earlier this week that the state has information that Russia is preparing a coup to Moldova's pro-Western government, with the help of foreign sabotagers.

The leaders of France and Germany are attending the conference, but also American Vice President Kamala Harris, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, chief of state NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, and other officials.

During the conference, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said his state's support for Ukraine “is designed to be long-term”.

The “those who can send combat tanks should now do it”, Scholz said, adding that it is becoming the intensive “Fushes” that the Allies send tanks to Ukraine, just as they promised last month.

Meanwhile, France's President Emmanuel Macron said it is extremely important that Western allies step up military aid so that Ukraine can launch a counteroffensive against Russia.

A day earlier, officials in Kiev said Ukrainian forces said they have backed Russian attacks on several settlements, while Russia has continued attacks on Ukraine's critical infrastructure.

On February 16th, the Russian Army has carried out 41 missile attacks in Ukraine, and five of them have hit the Harkiwi region, the Ukrainian Army said. Kiev said Ukrainian defence forces have managed to prevent 16 Russian missile attacks.
