Former head of O'S Versus Mission The SEU during the war in Kosovo, William Walker, has congratulated all citizens on the country's 15th anniversary of independence.
On the day of Kosovo's February 17th 2008 declaration of Independence, Ambassador Walker said he described it as an exciting, beautiful and happy day for citizens.
Walker in his exciting tour said keep doing what you've done in the last 20 years.
Make everybody happy and maybe sometimes remember Walker, okay?
Kosovo was a country that was facing those most fundamental fragments of life that were so dramatic and meaningful I think first of my life, but also about the life of this part of the world. I was in parliament that day, I was there on the balcony watching the deputies stand up to sign the Declaration of Independence. Then I went out on the street, and I had the joy of seeing the people who were celebrating. It may be my ego talking, but I feel like a father in this country because I have seen him give birth, but I am proud of all that Kosovo has accomplished and is reaching”- Walker said in his broadcast tour of RTK.
