University of Pristina founder's 53rd anniversary ceremony is held today

Pristina University is founded with the Law on Founding the University of Pristina, which was approved by the Assembly of the Socialist District of Kosovo on 18 November 1969. The establishment of the University of Pristina was a historic event for the people of Kosovo, as well as for the entire Albanian nation.
The founding district of the University of Pristina was held on 13 February 1970, and two days later, on February 15, 1970, the solemn Assembly of the Parliament was held, and that was the date proclaimed Pristina University Day. In the composition of the newly founded Pristina University were these headquarters schools in Pristina: The philosophical faculty, the Jurydico-Economic Faculty, the Technical Faculty and the Faculty of Medicine. Now the University of Pristina has 14 faculties.
Meanwhile, with the entry into force of the University's Statut on July 9, 2004, the rights and responsibilities of students and staff of the Faculty of Teachers and Higher Schools were held at the Faculty of Education.
