Ulcinj Mayor Omer Bajraktari has reacted after the case of a Montenegrin police official's brutal behaviour towards Albanian professor Petrac Milo.
A major scandal has occurred at the border crossing point between Albania and Montenegro, where a Montenegrin policeman has been caught in the camera, severely torturing Albanian professor Petrac Milo.
The images have also been published by Montenegrin media, where it says the Police Directorate is determining what happened at the Sukobin ú Murican border post after Albanian media reported that Montenegrin Border Police officers have brutally mistreated an Albanian citizen.
Bajraktari has demanded that officials ' inhuman behavior be punished as soon as possible. He did this through a Facebook status.
This is full status:
On behalf of the Ulcinj municipality, we strongly condemn the inhuman behaviour of members of the Border Police at the joint crossing with the Republic of Albania.
So we expect rapid reaction and access to competent organs.
We request that police conduct an emergency and professional investigation and punish all those who in indecent conduct harm the state image. How much more so that he is a foreign and elderly citizen!
Such people simply have no place in civilian service!
