A terrible earthquake has struck Turkey in the early hours of Monday morning.
The team's goalie from the First Turkish League, Yeni Malatyaspor, Ahmet Eyup Turkaslan, has remained in ruins at his Malatyaspor home.
Turkish media Compas from Gaziantep's local press, reportedly Türkaslan's wife has escaped from the ruins and that efforts are continuing to rescue 28-year-old Ahmet Eyüp Türkaslan.
Eyüp Türkaslan, who started football at the Gaziantep FK Academy, has worn Bugsa Sopor fans Osmanlıspor, Umranisepor and Yeni Malatyaspor in his career.
Even his current club Yeni Malatyaspor has made a post on the social network "Twitter" where he has prayed for the doorman who is still in the rubble. “Our prayers are for him”, wrote the Turkish club publishing the photo of Eyup Turkaslan.
