White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has expressed the willingness of the United States to help Turkey following the earthquake that left hundreds of people dead in Turkey and Syria.
Through a Twitter post, Sullivan has said he is in contact with Turkish officials and that the US is willing to offer needed assistance.
“The US is deeply concerned by today's devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. I have been in contact with Turkish officials to say that we are willing to offer any and all necessary assistance. We will continue to monitor the situation closely in co-ordination with Turkey”, Sullivan has said.
The U.S. It's perfectly concerned by today's destructive waters in Turkiye & Syria. I have been in touch with Turkish officials to maintain that we stand ready to prove anything and all needed assistance. We will continue to completely monitor the situation in coordination with Turkiye.
