Trajkovic, through a Twitter post, said that “if Vuciq sincerely wants an agreement, we have agreement”.
He has the absolute majority in the Assembly, which he can (and without question) vote on. He does not need national unity, and he has never sincerely sought it at any point. This discussion is just a show for the naive”, Traykovic wrote.

The Serbian president told lawmakers that the envoys warned that if Serbia does not accept the proposal, the consequences will be serious.
“Then in the third sentence they quoted as saying: Mr. President, if the job is not accepted for this initiative and its implementation, you will face, quote, suspension of membership negotiations in the European Union, not only with the interruption of further investments from the Western world in Serbia, but also with the withdrawal of all investments from your country and other comprehensive measures that should show how those who disagree with the European Union must end up”, Vuci said.
His speech to Serbia's parliament was interrupted on several occasions by opposition MPs who accused the Serbian president of treason and demanded his resignation.
The Senate was also involved in clashes between opposition deputies and those of the Serbian president's party.
