16 years after the assassination of Arben Dzedin and Mon Balaj in the violent protest of February 10th 2007, victims have reminded the weekly VV activist, now minister Jelal Svechla.
In a Facebook post, Svechla said justice came to date.
He says that Mon Balaj and Arben Xhedini are martyrs for freedom of self-rule.

On Saturday, February 10, 2007, we were gathered peacefully and massively at “Square. Skenderbeu” in Pristina to express our opposition to the injustices being imposed on Kosovo by the Ahtisaari package.
The protest led the measure that day was also addressed by the unique activity of the Albanian national issue, Adem Demac, while around it were thousands of citizens and activists, honest boys and girls, courageous and aware of the danger facing our country from ethnic decentralisation.
232 long - term rubber bullets were fired toward us toward boys and girls, men, women, and the elderly. Those bullets were killed by Mon Balaj and Arben Xhedini, heavily injured Hysni Hyseni, Zenel Zenel and Mustafe Nerjova, as well as more than 80 other protesters suffered injuries.
Justice hasn't happened yet, but crime never gets old.
Mon Balaj and Arben Xheladin were martyred for freedom and self - determination. They are permanent guides to the common path of our ideals. They are the guides of our daily and unstoppable commitment to our country.
