Suspected that the 9m-euro misuse, VV)ja calls for the dismissal of the KPMA board

This initiative for the dismissal of this board, which has been initiated by the deputy of Vetevendosje, a member of the Commission, Armend Muja, has occurred under the argument that the board has committed violations of the law and the way this board has worked so far.

The download recommendation has been supported by the chairman of the Commission, deputy PDK, Ferat Shala, but criticising Vetevendosje that this board has been named exactly by Albin Kurti's government.

MP Armend Muja tells Kosovo Press that the Commission describes the KPM board as violating the Law on Mines and Mines, and adds that board members through actions or inactions, deliberately or by neglect, have caused damage to Kosovo's budget in behalf of a company from Albania.

Kosovo's Country Economics Commission “has recommended that the board of Independent Commission for Mine and Minerals be dismissed in the past meeting because there were violations. We have judged there have been violations of the Law on Mines and Mines, and board members through actions or inactions, intentionally or by negligence have caused damage to Kosovo's budget, which we judge in value of nine million euros and for the benefit of a company that has been owned by a citizen from Albania”, he says.

Muja is also questioning that there have been violations of the administrative direction for the mining rate.

There has been a failure to implement administrative guidance for the mining rate. So the interior audience of this commission has found that between 2011 and 2021, the company has not reported according to administrative instruction. And so, KPM has established a professional commission to verify that situation, and this commission has precisely found that since 2011 the company has not reported according to obligations that have been under administrative guidance for mining rent. Amazingly during the time of the summit, during the summer, they have gathered again and removed the obligation without any explanation of”, Muja points out.

While PDK deputy Ferat Shala emphasises that the board, elected directly by Prime Minister Kurti, is involved in several illegal situations.

Meanwhile, the next member of the Commission for Economics, Valentina Bulnjaku, deputy from the LDK, is not agreeing to have all members of this board charged.

MP Bunnjak is demanding that the other two board members who have been working for the state's interests, in this case not for the forgiveness of the mining rent, be dismissed.

“The LVV itself has named this board and on that board were LVV militants and those who were earlier part of the board. In this case, two candidates have voted against being pardoned by the mineral entity, and all three have voted for. In this case, LVV has decided to download the entire board. And they can't really be equal to the two who voted not to forgive the mineral rent, while three have voted for the forgiveness of the mineral cloud and actually need to distinguish good from bad, here's the difference and the evil of LVV that can't distinguish white from black. In this case, they have named the board themselves and brought it in, that means the entire dismissal of the board, which for us as the LDK is unacceptable. Because the board needs to be fired one by one in the Republic of Kosovo's Assembly, and those who have violated the law and those who have not implemented administrative guidelines and laws in power should be dismissed. The two who have voted against forgiveness should not be equal to those who have voted for forgiveness. Here is LVV's left policy that everyone is the same, everyone has to function the same, everyone has to have the same salaries and absolutely can't distinguish the good from the worst”, she points out.

Otherwise, in December 2021, the Kosovo Assembly has chosen the KPM board with this composition: Selvete Grejqevci Plana leading the board, Jahir Gashi member, Gani Kastrati member, Gani Maliqi member and member Rizarta Pushcoli Makolli.

Kosovo's Assembly took turns in the last session of the board's dismissal, but because of procedural reasons at the request of LVV was removed from the agenda. This recommendation of the Commission for Economy is expected to be considered at another session of the Parliament. /kp
