Lawmakers in Slovakia have named Russia a state sponsor of terrorism and have called it its current terrorist regime, again condemning Russian aggression against Ukraine and expressing support for Ukraine's independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
MPs, through the resolution adopted by the National Council this Thursday, also condemned Russia's missile attacks on civilians, civilian objects and energy infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as direct and indirect threats of Moscow to use nuclear weapons in its ongoing invasion of Ukraine, the REL writes.
Also, through this resolution, Slovakia does not recognise the procedures or results of Russia's referenda in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporzhija regions of Ukraine.
Parliament also voiced support for efforts to establish a special court for prosecuting aggression crimes and supporting the prosecution of crimes against humanity and war crimes.
