Insander learns the detainee is Zivorad (Vidosav) Jovanovic, and resides in northern Mitrovica.

Police during vehicle control have found about 6300 (six thousand and three hundred) rounds. The suspect (J.Z., the 1981 birth year) has been accompanied by police. The same has been interviewed, a criminal case has been initiated against him, and with the same prosecutor's ruling has been submitted to holding up to 48 hours”, Kosovo Police announced today.

Interior Minister Jalal Svecla has reacted after Kosovo police have announced that in Leposaviq they have arrested a Serb national citizen in whose car over 6300 bullets have been found and confiscated.

“While Vuciq talks about armed Serbia, 6,300 pieces of ammunition smuggled from Serbia are seized north of Kosovo. 6,300 quantities of ammunition have been confiscated today by the Joshanica Fast Border Intervention Unit in northern Kosovo. During patrols, suspicious cars with Serbia's license plates and a Serbian citizen and relevant units have already taken necessary action”, Svecla has written.

According to him, it reiterates the fact that certain groups, orchestrated and supported by Belgrade are intended and fully engaged to destabilise our country.

We will continue our unhindered engagement in combating any kind of criminality intended to violate the security of our country and our citizens”, Svechla wrote.
