In the 22-year-old Greek media, Dionys Abdijaj is now considered a hero. He saved a 1-year-old boy after the flames included his room in an old house where a 57-year-old Roma woman and her three grandchildren, 6 and 1 years old, lived after parents were absent.
Dionysius was on his way home when he heard a call for help and ran to see what was going on.
And when he was come to the place, he saw much smoke; and one of the chambers was covered with flames.
Outside, Grandma and her two older children, as well as neighbors who called for help, were in panic.
The 22-year-old just heard one of the brothers crying told him that the baby was inside the house entered the burning room to save the little boy.
The child was crying, and with a trembling voice, he told me that the baby was at home. I immediately threw out my jacket and gave a strong blow to my room window. I went in and took the baby that was surrounded by flames. It all happened so fast. Fortunately, the child is safe and well.
