Recognition of Kosovo citizenship last year demanded 1100 people

Of the more than 1,000 requirements for acquiring Kosovo's citizenship, more than 400 are approved, meanwhile, the requirements for family union lead, demands by the diaspora, while a small number are also required for citizenship by the position. “Minimum of staying on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo to obtain citizenship on the basis of residence is 10 years”, Neziri said.
Meanwhile, Turkey's citizen Zeki Kork, who lives and works in our country for about 10 years, says Radio Kosovo likes to live and work in Kosovo.
“I applied for Kosovo citizenship, because after a 10-year stay in Kosovo as foreigners, we have the right to apply for citizenship. I have applied but I have been told that no citizenship requirements are accepted, but has said to apply again, so I will apply again, Neziri said.
In the citizenship division, the demands of persons dealing with status without citizenship are further clarified by Neziri, under whom 11 requirements have been addressed since 2014.
“A person without citizenship is considered the person who is not considered a citizen under that country's legislation. Fortunately, we don't have many requests, we have 11 requests that have been recognised by the status of the person without citizenship --”m said.
Otherwise, the most demand for citizenship comes from the states of the region; Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, meanwhile, leads Turkey.
