Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama from Podgorica has indicated that Albania is at the side of Kosovo, while the Pristina-Belgrade meeting is held in Brussels today.
At a joint conference with Montenegrin counterpart Dritan Abazovic, Rama in his address said the Franco-German plan for Kosovo- Serbia's best plan as it added that the agreement between the two countries is the only way to move forward.
“Albania is not superpower as is the EU or the US. It is not for Albania to say the parties in the unconditional terms dialogue, not for us but for the parties in the dialogue. It's those who have the responsibility to decide for their countries and it's those who pay the costs of the wrong jobs. There is absolutely no other way. Any other way is another illusion is about domestic warfare, about votes, about politics, but it has nothing to do with the future. I am committed to getting the issue between Serbia and Kosovo on the road to a return-free dialogue, and there is no need for superpowers to wear it whenever they argue in the backyard. I believe the deal based on the Franco-German plan is the best plan. It is inevitable that Albania will join the Kosovo government.”, Rama said.
