US promises $85m aid to Turkey, Syria

The aid of the American Agency for International Development consists of housing, clothing, blankets, food, water and health care.
Up to this point, over 56 countries have offered assistance and assistance with rescue search teams in areas affected by earthquakes, where at least 21,000 people have lost their lives.
According to USAID, these aides are needed to be deployed immediately, as many people can die from the cold.
Agency chief Samantha Power shows that currently 200 people from the disaster management team have been sent to Turkey who operate in the cities of Adiyaman, Adana and Ankara.
