Pristina with 3,000 stray dogs

In the neighborhood squares of the capital, wandering dogs are present all the time.

Although they have seen citizens and municipalities, still no one has until this year counted them.

According to Bajram Gekaj, adviser to President Progress Rama, there are more stray dogs in the capital, starting with the treatment this institution received to these animals.

We've treated 2,000 stray dogs in 2022, and we still have six tears, six veterinarians that are dealing with stray dogs. So far we have contracts to treat 5,000 stray dogs. Their treatment will take place this year, the rest of the”, Gecaj said.
