The Kosovo Assembly MPs have in principle adopted amendments to the Law on Budget Breaks, respectively, to the euro's 105-euro coefy for public sector wages.

The consent in principle of this cofficiency was made by 63 votes per, none against any abstention.

While, with a proposal from the Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group, for a procedure motion to avoid regular deadlines for reviewing the second-read bill, the assembly decided that this bill should be reviewed in second reading tonight by 8:00, the KP reports.

MP Armend Muja has read LVV's proposal for holding the session tonight at 8:00.

After first-read approval, amendments to the Law on Change of the Budget Divisions Law for 2023 could be addressed to the functional commission by 7:00 on 09.02,2023. Parliamentary commissions by 7:30 on this date must review the Bill and the reports with recommendations and present it to the functional Commission. The second review of this bill should be made at the new plenary session of the 09.02.2023 beginning at 800”, Muja said.

The debate in the Parliament during the day for the co-fficiency coincided with sharp criticism between opposition deputies and Finance Minister Hekuran Murati.
