Portugal to send German Leopard tanks to Ukraine

Portugal will send German tanks Leopard 2 to Ukraine, Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa said on Saturday without specifying their number. He added that Portugal is in talks with Germany to take the necessary parts to repair some of the tanks in Portugal's arms inventory, the AFP reports.

And Admiral Antonio Silva Ribeiro, head of the Portuguese Armed Forces last month, said Portugal has 37 Leopard 2 tanks, but in local media it is reported that most of them are out of office.
