A person is arrested in Rahovec, suspected of organizing pyramid schemes and gambling

Kosovo police have announced they have arrested a person in Rahovec after allegedly organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling. The Regional Sector for Investigations in Co-operation with the Rahovec Police Station, in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, and in implementation of the court's issued warrant, says on February 1st, the Regional Sector for Investigation into three locations on suspicion of organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling.
One of these locations (in the village of Krusha the Great-Rahovec) has arrested suspect B. B., born in 1985, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the quality of material evidence, has been seized by two mobile phones and a lot of money allegedly used to commit criminal acts.
After interviewing and completing other police procedures, with the State Prosecutor's decision the suspect has been detained in holding for 48 hours.
Criminal case for investigation “Organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling” has been initiated.
The Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova remains committed to carrying out its duties and responsibilities in the interest of maintaining order and public safety.
