Osman for “Telegraph”: Wagner mercenaries helping Serbia launch potential attacks on us

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has said Russian group mercenaries Wagner are working with Serbian paramilitaries to smuggle weapons and military uniforms.

She has said this about The Telegraph media, adding that the secret operation has been created to make the basis for a possible hybrid attack from Serbia towards Kosovo.

There is evidence that Serbian paramilitary groups have planned this along with Wagner. Whether they were on the border or within (Kosovo opposition), it is an issue being investigated”.

“They bring weapons and uniforms, but are not formally part of the Serbian Army. Serbia wants to achieve its goals without calling the military operation”, Osmani has indicated.

The Serbian target is according to President Osmani is “to prepare situations for possible annexation, not through a military operation, but through a kind of hybrid attack”.
