Osman for Franco-German plan: Constitutional category promised, Parliament has final word

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has been declared after Kurti's yesterday meeting with Vuciqi in Brussels. It “underestimates” that this meeting marks a positive moment in the dialogue process for normalising Kosovo relations -- Serbia. “President Osmani estimates that the February 27th meeting in Brussels, in the middle of Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin [...]
“President Osmani estimates that the February 27th meeting in Brussels, between the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, with the mediation of top European Union officials (BE) and the support of the United States of America, marks a positive moment in the dialogue process for normalising relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia. It contributes to peace and stability in the country and the region. ”
Osman, however, has said that some light proposals have been accepted yesterday.
However, according to President Osmani, with this agreement, several light proposals have been accepted yesterday, related to self-advancing the Serb minority in Kosovo and regulating the legal status of the Serbian Orthodox Church. The text of the agreement does not fully clarify the implications of these as well as some other issues that need to be clarified necessarily before the Implementation Plan is finalised. ”
Osman media adviser Bekim Kupina told Express that the president considers the final word about this agreement should say Kosovo's Parliament
“President Osmani stresses that any result of the dialogue should maintain Kosovo's territorial integrity, sovereignty and internal functionality. As President Osmani has repeatedly said and as President Biden has underlined, the process of dialogue must be completed with mutual recognition, so the European Plan can help achieve that goal. The president considers that the final word about this agreement should say Kosovo's Parliament, since it affects the previous constitutional category in Article 18 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”, Cupina said.
Yesterday in Brussels, it was held between Kurti and Vuciqi under the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, where the Franco-German plan was talked about. After this meeting, Kurti said he was willing to sign it, but not the Serbian president.
