LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has reiterated the LDK's position about the dialogue process, until the summit in Brussels is held Monday.
Abdixhiku says the final agreement with Serbia should have mutual recognition.
The LDK's position for the dialogue process is that there must be final agreements that essentially has mutual recognition between the two countries. The agreement must be legally and internationally binding and should contain the act when Serbia recognises Kosovo, and when Kosovo bilaterally recognises Serbia. Any deviation from this strategic orientation is the irreparable responsibility of the current government”, Abdixhiku has said.
This Abdixhiku said in the year at a meeting of the citizens and structures of this municipality within the controversial and discusion cycle “The LDK listens to”, which has started this party.
He has also talked about Kosovo's position, as well as reports with the US, where according to the LDK, Kosovo's international position is heavy.
With reckless actions, without being constantly co-ordinated with allies, the prime minister has removed Kosovo from that goal. On February 7th 2021, United States President Joe Biden, through a letter of congratulations, had asked Serbia's President Vuciq to reach a comprehensive agreement with Kosovo focused on mutual recognition. Exactly two years with the Kurti Government, and Kosovo's international position clearly seems heavy. It is not about mutual recognition and is not about a final agreement. Now they're talking about basic agreements that have no mutual recognition of”, Obadiah has said.
He also said Kurt didn't say anything about what was being discussed.
Besides the prime minister, no one knows what is being discussed. What contains the entry of the agreement is not known, nor is the appendix known. Such topics should be handled responsibly, and the prime minister's responsibility will be requested”, Obadiah concluded.
However, Kurti in the Assembly in response to criticism from opposition MPs that there is no transparency as far as the Franco-German plan is concerned, has often said he has shown it to opposition party leaders.
