NATO has said it will send more than 1,000 shipping containers to Turkey to help secure housing for earthquake survivors.
“This semi-permanent shelter is able to accommodate at least 2,000 people displaced by earthquakes in Turkey”, the NATO Joint Forces Command in Naples said in a Twitter post.
The container, currently located in Taranto, Italy, will be sent to Turkey next week, the alliance said.
As the excavations continue to survive, the death toll has risen to over 400,000, in Turkey and Syria, Clankosova reports.tv.
Only yesterday, nine people were released alive in Turkey on the eighth day since the earthquake.
