MSH warns 6 tenders worth over 30m euros for construction of health facilities

The Health Ministry has warned 6 tenders worth over 30m euros for the construction of health facilities.

Six tenders bought 30 million and 150 thousand euros have been warned by the Ministry of Health to announce the following weeks.

These tenders are expected to be announced for the construction or continuation of construction of hospital facilities and other health institutions in several municipalities, writes Schneta newspaper.

The highest value tender is the continuation of construction of the new KKUK emergency facility. For the continuation of these works, 15.8 million euros are planned. In the Frequency document, except the cost and opening date of the tender on March 20th, no more details have been provided about the project.

We remember that this facility was beginning to build in 2016. The company that had won the tender had withdrawn from the contract and the facility has remained unfinished for several years. A tender worth about 19 million euros was opened for the completion of the facility at the end of 2020 at the time when the MSH was led by former Prime Minister Armend Zemaj. The facility was intended to dedicate itself to patients ill with Avid-19 to increase hospital capacities. But this tender was later canceled with the reasoning of lack of budget.

The next highest value tender is the one for the construction of the facility of the Special Institute in Zoom worth 8 million Euros. Even for this procedure, no more details have been provided except that it will open on 12 April of this year.

The other tenders are: The construction of the QKMF in Istog worth 2.5 million euros, the construction of the QKMF in Drenas worth 2.1 million Euro, the construction of KKMF in Entrance worth 1 million and 250 thousand Euros, and the construction of the Mitrovica Hospital (resistment of the project) worth 500 thousand euros.

All these procedures are expected to cost the MSH budget less than 300,000 euros.
