Shatri has said that stalling economic development does not result from external factors related to global security and economic crises, but is related to the government's inaction.
The economic development in Kosovo has some stable trend. Now we have the trend in decline, it's not due to outside causes, but it's just the result of government inaction. For example, out of the planned 706m-euro expenditures and only 25%<1> are successful, Shatri said at T7.
Shatri has said Kosovars don't live better than two years ago.
In this question, a citizen would have answered. We don't live better than two years ago. The basket has been expensive, wages have not been increased, expected to increase if nothing happens. Civil servants are damaged. The salary is not enough to close monthly obligations”
Meanwhile, it has said that the minimum support of certain social groups of 50 euros and 100 euros does not present adequate measures in the face of crises.
He called this approach “sevap”.
The government is orient to the minimum measures, with support of 100 euros, 50 euros, in fact they are sevap. They have minimal effect. We're stuck in foreign investment dynamics. The structure of those investments is not effective enough for development, such as real estate investments”, he said.
