I felt as if I were jumping about two meters high. I thought it would last forever. Suddenly the walls broke out and collapsed on us. The door was stuck and we couldn't open it. I had to crawl like a spider through my house. It took 45 minutes to find a way out”, reports the BBC, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
The apartment block that Layla lived in was badly damaged until she was not allowed to go inside.
Through her tears, she says she lost her home and all her wealth. She's staying with her daughter now.
She has also said she has heard that after the quake, there are problems with the robbery and worries that some of her precious things can be stolen.
In an apartment where Layla used to live, residents who do not have relatives or friends with whom to stay and now live on the street, lighting fires to warm up during the cold nights.
