In his reaction, Minister Mehej has congratulated the number of victims and damages to be as small as possible.
A 7.8-degree Ricter earthquake struck Turkey's southeast and northern Syria on Monday, leaving hundreds dead.
The number of victims is believed to be 360, while health officials in the Syrian capital, Damascus, have reported that 237 people have died in areas controlled by the Syrian government.
