Ends meeting at Ambassador Havenier's residence

The informal meeting of US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier has ended, with participants held on January 31st by the US Embassy talking about the Association of Serb-run municipalities.

There were no media statements at the residence of Ambassador Havenier.

At the US diplomat's reception were other ambassadors accredited in Pristina, representatives of political parties and civil society.

The US Embassy in Kosovo last month organised a discussion with state officials, political leaders, diplomats and civil society organisations concerning the Association of Major Serb municipalities in Kosovo.

Ambassador Havenier has asked the Government to offer its vision of Association, as he has said, which protects Kosovo's future as a sovereign, independent, multiethnic and democratic state.
