The English football league reportedly will have no obligation to accept Manchester City as a member if the club is to be expelled from Premier League for alleged violations of financial regulations.
The defending champions were charged by Premier League on Monday for more than 100 violations of financial regulations after a four-year investigation, writes Periscopi.
The charges cover a nine-month deadline and deal with issues such as failure to provide accurate financial information on revenues from sponsorship and non-discovering a manager's real salary.
That way, EFL has no request to admit them to the League Champions, League One or League Two.
If they were shot out of the Premier League, they wouldn't.
The EFL has no decision to accept them into the Championship, League One or League Two.
