The LDK considers the selection of a political activist at the helm of Albanian channels in RTK to be the complete grasp of this public institution, which is becoming a propaganda tool for power.

“The LDK has reacted to this selection and until the annulment of this process with all its leading structures will boycott its presence in this public channel”, it is said in response.

This party also calls on all other actsors, political subjects and local and international organisations, as well as independent figures to follow such a step.

The LDK solidifies with journalists and all workers who have worked hard and informed all our citizens fairly and independently. Kosovo citizens deserve an independent public television. Therefore, the LDK will once again request the immediate annulment of the selection in question, and until that happens, the LDK will not participate in any emissions, or forms organised by this broadcaster”, the LDK's response reported.

We remember that at the head of RTK as director, the military of Vetevendosje and the man close to power, Relind Gervalla.
