Halimi through a Facebook post said Kosovo is a parliamentary state and, according to her, Kurti is obliged to report to the Parliament for the dialogue.
“Transparency should not remain hostage to the ruling party's will, it is mandatory and binding for the prime minister to report to the Assembly, before the people's elected, as Kosovo is parliamentary state”.
Halim, “transparency should not remain hostage to the ruling party's will, it is mandatory and binding for the prime minister to report to the Assembly before the people's elected, as Kosovo is parliamentary state”.
Halimi says Kurt's statement that the Franco-German proposal has been accepted by him shows a personal approach to dialogue.
However, the prime minister's statement that the German Franco Proposal has been accepted on his part indicates a personal approach, not a state agenda, so the Government has hermetically closed to the public and is therefore causing uncertain distrust”, Halimi declared.
Kurti in a Twitter post has written that Kosovo accepts the EU proposal for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
Good “Exchange with EU special envoy Miroslav Lajcak during a working lunch in Pristina. We accept the EU's proposal for normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and consider it a good basis for further discussions and a solid platform to move forward”, Kurti wrote.
The European Union's special envoy for Kosovo talks, Miroslav Lajcak, said on Monday that all agreements signed in Brussels must be implemented, including that of the Serb majority municipalities.
He made these comments after meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Pristina, where he went to Belgrade under efforts to resume talks on normalising relations between the two sides.
