LDK Hamit: Kurti government has fallen into Serbia's trap

Kosovo Democratic League head-in-chief Muhamet Hamiti, after counting conditions on the part of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, for establishing association, has said his government has fallen into Serbia's trap. “These conditions should have placed in conversations with Serbia, within the dialogue, which [...]

“These conditions should have been put in conversation with Serbia, within the dialogue, which has been suspended for a while, for Serbia's great fault, but also for the next fact that this government, this prime minister, has fallen into the trap of Serbia, which has been interested in not continuing dialogue”, he has declared.

Hamiti during interview for RTV Dukagjin has said that association should be made on the basis of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo decision -- that is, by implementing an association that has no executive power that does not affect the constitutional system. This was the LDK position, and that's the right attitude”, he has declared.

Also, he has criticised Kurti, saying that for years he has been traumatizing Kosovo's society and polarising it exceedingly with words that “Zajednica does not pass” that at Thursday's plenary session, in a way has said the association is going through on conditions.

Kurti has said that one of the conditions is not to be mono-ethnic association, while according to Hamit this guarantees the Constitutional Court's decision.

The government must take into account the points that should be applied whenever it decides to draft the status of association in accordance with the Constitution and the 2013 agreement and forward the dialog”, he has said. Also, Hamiti has said that this government by traumating Kosovo's society for years with the word “Zieednica”, the Serbian word that he said put into the Albanian lexicon of its supporters, who are not looking at these Kurti acracies.

This aerobication is not the first, since it said it does not pass Zajednica but, today said the association passes. He said it in another way on terms - saying that he died today - he said it on these terms. But it is a condition that the association be in line with the Constitutional Court's decision and certainly the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”, Haiti has declared.

Meanwhile, he has added that association cannot create the third level of power, much less take executive power from the central level.
