Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Defence Minister Armend Mehaj visited the Turkish KFOR military base in Prizren.
Kurti and Minister Meheha once again expressed condolences to the victims of Monday's devastating earthquake.
The Republic of Kosovo and its people are close to the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish people, in higher readiness for support.
The Kosovo Security Force contingent, comprised of urban search-saving specialists, emergency medicine and K9 units, is already in earthquake-hit areas. Meanwhile, tonight the KSF team in Turkey will be added another group from the national guard.
Civilisation and institutional support have also been attached to the citizens of the Republic, who on voluntary and humanitarian grounds have begun sending aid to the Turkish people. During this visit, Prime Minister Kurti saw closely the collection and package of aid destined for areas with a greater need of”, the prime minister's office communique said.
