Through a letter to Turkey's president, Rexhep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti, in the name of the Government and the People of Kosovo, has expressed his deepest condolences to him and the families of the earthquake victims that hit Turkey today, while the wounded have wished them a quick recovery.

In the letter, it is further said that in this difficult time, the Republic of Kosovo is near the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish people and is ready, on the basis of its capacities with the Kosovo Security Force, the Kosovo Police, the Agency for Emergency Management and Medical Teams, to help overcome this tragedy.

We remember that today, just moments ago, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has approved the decision to send the KSF contingent for humanitarian aid to areas affected by today's earthquake.
