At Istanbul's Vahdett Palace, the meeting between Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan, and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has started. The Turkish presidency on Thursday had said that at the meeting between the leaders would be discussed on various issues.

“Erdogan and Kurti will consider different aspects of Turkey-Kosovo relations and possible steps that will further boost bilateral co-operation”, the Presidency's statement said.

In addition to bilateral relations, views on regional and international issues are likely to be exchanged during meetings, in terms of the Balkans in particular, further.

After dinner there is expected to be a press conference.
