Two years of Kurt governance without new recognition, analysts show reasons

It has been two years since Prime Minister Albin Kurti is leading the country, and during these two years for the state of Kosovo there has been no new recognition. According to political analysts, the lack of new recognition relates to shortcomings in foreign diplomacy and the dialogue process, Online Economy reports. According to them, lack [...]
According to them, Serbia's lack of recognition enables Kosovo to succeed in foreign policy.
Political affairs acquaintance Arbnor Sadiku said the lack of recognition relates to two aspects.
According to him, the main blame is non-coordination in foreign policy by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking of the final agreement with Serbia, Sadiku says the five non-recognising countries automatically express interest in recognising Kosovo.
“in one form or another lack of recognition for Kosovo has been the result of two aspects. On one side, there has been justification for not co-ordinating foreign policy by MPJ itself, Minister Grovall, and there has been a abstention of various states in the world for the fact that it is seen as the final moment of reaching an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia. After reaching this agreement, I consider that there will be automatic recognitions of either the 5 EU nations that have not recognised Kosovo and some other countries that are collaborators of liberal democracies”, he said.
Sadiku considers reforming the government cabinet is necessary, the cause of what it says is failure to bring new recognition. He says MPB has to change minister.
Sadiku does not rule out the possibility of changing government with that technique.
I have believed that earlier there had to be in some areas of reshaping of the government cabinet, especially in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have had many defects as in representation in the outside world. Now after recent events the odds are that we can have a deadline for new elections and that there will not be time left for this government to have reshape. At the same time, we can have a government as an additional option, a government that can be called National Unity or Technical Government, which can be represented by all political parties in the country and then have a consensus on establishing the Association of Serb Major communities”, he said.
Political analyst Mazbul Baraliu also said the lack of recognition linked with foreign policy shortcomings and with the Serb state's lobe against recognition of Kosovo.
“Anyway, we have shortcomings and mistakes and exactly some mistakes that have been made in foreign policy by earlier governments have caused, especially dialogue which began as technical and is continuing that 12 years has enabled Serbia to bring the matter back. Serbia has broken out by giving millions of money that by telling others that they should not recognise Kosovo even recognize it because we are in the negotiations process, this is the main factor”, he said.
Baraliu also said these mistakes in foreign diplomacy have caused problems both with Serbia and with the international community.
“Certainly the errors of a diplomacy that through the Foreign Ministry and other institutions has been unworthy to create a diplomatic school and develop a diplomacy level to counter Serbia are our mistakes not only in the field of diplomacy but also in other areas, so we have these consequences even with Serbia and the international community”, he said.
