Kurti has been asked in the Kosovo Assembly for his promise of building 4 thousand residences for newly married couples.
Kurti has said the project could cost around 200m euros.
The project for affordable residence is a unique project and applies for the first time in Kosovo. It should be stressed that this project is completely different from the social cases that exist in Kosovo, which for this is approved by the Council of Europe Development Bank's 25m-euro credit, and is soon expected to come to the Assembly as a draft law and agreement”, Kurti said.
Kurti has indicated the Ministry of Infrastructure on February 16th 2022 has signed physical study agreements with the IFC.
“The IFC as part of the World Bank group on February 1st 2023 has presented its studies and recommendations on how the project will be implemented in Kosovo.
Studies and recommendations that this project will recommend in Kosovo” has stated Kurti.
