Kurt at Bedri Hamza: Mark 34% anniversary of the strike of the miners of Trepca

Commenting on this event of miners has been attended by Mitrovica Mayor Bedri Hamza, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli, U.d. of the head of the company “Trepca”, Ennis Abdurrahman, director of municipal directors, striking miners and current miners.

In announcing the media from the Mitrovica municipality, the mayor of the municipality, Bedri Hamza, prior to the audience, said the marking of this event for him is also emotion because he was a worker at the “Trepca” plant and also participants in the miners' organised strikes.

The 1989 Minors' “Greva was from the first strikes, not to say the only ones which did not contain social requirements, but there were political demands, at the centre has had the protection of rights and freedoms, even completely, of the Albanian nation”, he said.

Furthermore, Hamza said miners did not stop by strikes, continued their political commitment to the peaceful movement even during the 1990s, did not think of their outcome for their contribution to the country and freedom, and a large part of them attached to the KLA's largest political and military project.
