Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has visited primary school today “Peter Bogdani” in Pristina, where he has expressed concern about reducing the number of students due to mass migration.
“During the conversation, teachers expressed their concern with the trend of the past two years, where this school has lost about 60 students, or two classes. The situation becomes even more alarming when we look at domestic figures, which tell us that for two years, there are more than 16 thousand fewer students in Kosovo's pre-university education and a total of 47 closed schools”, Krasniqi writes.
He has said that every day, talented young people with extraordinary potential are abandoning the country, every day professional parents are leaving jobs in the absence of a more pro-operative future for their children in Kosovo.
Header The PDK says this party is committed to restoring hope and confidence in Kosovo.
Therefore, today, it is critical to understand two things: citizens cannot keep in place with beautiful speeches and great promises. And secondly, we must act urgently and with priority to restore the development age to our country. This is the battle we have to win and we have to win it together, putting aside party interests and daily politics. This should be our mission, for every party, for every politician and for all our society. The Democratic Party of Kosovo is committed to undertaking that goal. Together, even with devoted and loving educators, we will return hope and faith in Kosovo! ”, he said.
