Kosovo today celebrates 15th anniversary of Independence

In honour of this special day, 15 years later, ceremonies will begin with the festive gathering of the government of the Republic of Kosovo, while the establishment of the state flag in the court of the Prime Minister's Office will follow.

The independence holiday agenda starts with the Kosovo Government's holiday gathering, which will be held by 8: 00 a.m., while at 8:20 a.m., it will be the solemn establishment of the Kosovo Flag, and at 8:30 p.m., honours will be made at the Monument of the Undiscovered.

The agenda for the Independence Festival is envisioned for heads of state to pay their respects at former President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova at 8:45 p.m. 8:50 a.m. will also be held at the event's grave, Adem Demach.

Also, at 8:50 a.m., there will be a supplement at the Meteorological Complex “Adem Jashari” in Prekaz, and at 10:30, there will be an interpretation of the Kosovo Philharmonic in the Kosovo Assembly.

At 11: 00 p.m., there will be the Solemne session in the Kosovo Assembly, while at 11:20 p.m. there will be honours in the Monument of the fallen police officers, while at 11:30 hours there will also be honours at the Monument “Heroinas”,

But, at 12:00 a.m., there will be a parade of Kosovo Security Force and the Kosovo Police Corps.

And at 4:15 a.m., the lighting of 1,3133 candles will take place in front of the National Theatre in memory of children killed during the war, while at 5: 00 p.m., the state reception by Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani is scheduled.

In contrast, closing the festive agenda in the case of Kosovo's 15th anniversary of Independence is meant to be with the concert starting from 20:15 in the “1 October”
