Preparations for launching the trial in the case of Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi have started.
The Specialised Prosecutor's Office has announced that they are currently scheduled to call 312 witnesses.
The “Callendar we provided includes 600 hours in the first year of the trial. You have 312 witnesses, and this number changes 11 witnesses less than the previous paradition”, the chairman of the court said.
They will testify to the alleged crimes, some to the structure U n CK and some of the accused's behavior and actions, the KLA leaders.
“How many witnesses about crimes? We have 188 witnesses on the crime. KLA framework? About the actions and behavior of the 63 accused. If these figures are collected more than 312, some evidence may be repeated. These are categories.”, said the Special Prosecutor's Office.
