Kica-Jali: A minister telling the prosecutor to surrender must be fired

LDK MP Doarsa Kica-Jeli, today at a news conference, has criticised Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu, who yesterday demanded by prosecutor Ilaz Beqiri to surrender and withdraw from the indictment after lack of expertise and facts about tear gas. Kica-Jali said that changes, independence of the judiciary and [...] were promised from current power.
Kica-Jeli said that the current power has promised change, independence of the judiciary and financial support for the justice system, but that the opposite is happening.
The “is promised for ministers without execution. Unfortunately, reality is proving to us otherwise. Today, except that the salaries of prosecutors and judges are down, it is being sought and worked for the surrender of justice. A justice minister who demands justice to surrender must surrender himself or be dismissed. It has no credibility to lead with the justice sector. From today on and every day it continues to have this position, intervention in the justice system will bear the prime minister's name.
Kica-Jali's full word:
“Dje, on February 10th, 2023, the justice minister, at the court hearing in the case where there is an indictment against her personally, asked the prosecutor to surrender.
Surrender, he said. It's never too late.
And no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no. She said it herself. He didn't say “Instead of many opportunities she had to express and close her position by the accused's bank, she chose to ask the prosecutor: Surrender! This is what the justice minister, the mirror of what she learns to be the face of rule of law in Kosovo, said.
The key institution instead of creating the policies of justice; which is obligated to maintain maximum independence for the justice system; which aims to draft and implement property policies to veto these acts. It doesn't matter what quality she spoke of, because she has already several times in this government, has proved that she has no ability to take off her personal clothing or that of the accused when she enters the Ministry of Parliament. You forget it's an institution. Fuen, threatens, intimates she and others around her.
Dear citizens,
Change has been promised; independence of the judiciary and financial support for the justice system. It is promised for ministers without execution. Unfortunately, reality is proving to us otherwise. Today, except that the salaries of prosecutors and judges are down, it is being sought and worked for the surrender of justice. A justice minister who demands justice to surrender must surrender himself, or be dismissed. It has no credibility to lead with the justice sector. From now on, and every day she continues to have this position, intervention in the justice system will bear the name of the prime minister.
Kosovo needs prosecutors who do not surrender, especially when threatened by people of power. Whether Elez, or Lumez, prosecutors do not have their first threat, and I fear it will not be the last time. But it is our joint mission, the most noble and courageous mission we must assign to ourselves, to make sure it is the last time.
Yes, we have much work to improve the justice system! It is our role as society, as a measure and as a policy, that we constantly seek responsibility and justice from judges and prosecutors. so that we may never stop crying out in front of every victim who has become such, and every criminal who walks down the street because justice fails. but never, ever, should we allow power to have freedom of threat, for it is in the name of justice that powers have abused him. In the very name of righteousness, we have such justice today. No democratic state would allow an individual so divisive and unable to degrade the name of justice. None.
Since calls for downloads are called on deaf ears, we have another call:
For all the acters in the justice system: You are not alone!
For the good of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo! NO You're gonna die!
