Kica-Jali in case of Dehari: The government can't be forgiven any longer without this truth

Kica-Jali through a Facebook post wrote that Dehar's samples are not just evidence, but “are a voice of truth, his voice”. The government, especially the Ministry of Justice, cannot be forgiven one second longer for every day that goes by without that truth! It is similar with the Institute of Legal Medicine and Prosecutorship. Where are the samples? Where are the records? Who intends to assume responsibility in this country without cynicism of political division?”, she wrote.
She has said this lack of transparency and divisive language are hurting democracy.
“Democracy do not always die in the dark. They die with the lights on, from people elected by democratic means, says the book How Democracy Dies, by two political scientists at Harvard University. This lack of transparency; this divisive language of this absolute lack of accounting is hurting our democracy, open and with all the lights on”, Kica-Gali wrote.
Vetevendosje Movement activist Astrit Dehari was found dead in Prizren's prison cell in November 2016, where he was being held in detention under suspicion of having attacked the Parliament building along with several other activists. As the prosecution said it was suicide at the time, the family has consistently insisted that it is a murder.
Dehar's samples disappeared early in December of last year. Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu had said the move was meant to ultimately fail the investigative process for Dehar's death. Four officials from the Law Medicine Institute (IML) were suspended. But Abazi claims IML is under surveillance for 24 hours, and according to him, it is clear who entered the refrigerator to extract samples.
