According to the United Nations Organization, 8.8 million Syrians have been affected by devastating earthquakes that struck this country two weeks ago.
“predicted most of them would need humanitarian aid. The United Nations will do more to help all Syrians”, says Najat Rochdi's announcement on Twitter.
Activists, volunteers, and other teams that are contributing to overcoming the crisis in earthquake-affected areas in Syria and under rebel control complain that UN aid in those areas has been missing.
In areas controlled by rebels in northwest Syria, however, they have already reached over 140 United Nations trucks that sent relief supplies.
