Hyseni: Kurti and Osmani behave as 200 nuclear heads installed in Kosovo

Former Foreign Affairs Minister Skender Hyseni estimates that President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti are acting at odds with the real power Kosovo has. “Kurti and Osmani behave as if they had about 200 nuclear heads installed in Kosovo or they almost have Qatar's gas or Saudi Arabia's oil. [...]
Osman's “Kurti behaves as if he had 200 nuclear heads installed in Kosovo or almost have Qatar's gas or Saudi Arabia oil imposed as factors in major international policies. Unfortunately, they find themselves much more than they really are and here comes the evil”, Hyseni said.
The former diplomat has said diplomatic relations with the US are worse than they were.
“Egocentrism, adventure policies always lead to bad confrontation and always goes out losers. So I don't see the very alarming report with America, although it has been developing a Kosovo-American strategic dialogue for a year, it has been blocked. Nobody says it, I don't know why Sie say yes to Ambassador Dugolli's letter, and it should be an alarm. Kosovo today seems to have a diplomat or two in Washington instead of having 20 diplomats for different levels of administration. More diplomats have had the Republic of Kosovo at the embassy in Washington a month after the embassy was established than there is today. But this is absolutely unforgivable”, Hyseni declared at Tv1.
According to him, on the other hand Serbia is at <x0-aggressive” in lobby work.
Serbia is extremely aggressive in Washington. I assure you that you spend 100 times more than Kosovo in diplomatic work in Washington, in lobby, in contact, while Kosovo seems to be on its own, Mr. Kurti the good Osmani, perhaps even having it well”, he has declared.
Hyseni has praised the work of the Albanian-American lobby, but has stressed that there are now institutions that would have to do his job.
I strongly and eternally agree with the diaspora, especially the Albanian-American lobby, the Albanian-American National Council that was once led by Dr. Sami Repesti. They have done extraordinary and excellent work at that time. At the time, there's institutional lack, now there's no need for that job because it's the state, it's the institution. We cannot make parallel foreign policy institutions. The supplementary ones can only be on the lobby level, offering friends and things like that. And it goes on”, it added Hyseni.
