Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Hysen Durmish has indicated the reason this contract has been cut off.
According to him, the secession is made based on the Auditor's report, as the contractor has not met his specific obligations/missions.
“The dispute is made based on the Auditor's report, with employer checks, depending on the contracting authority (MMPHI) and international banks ( SFD and OFID) after many attempts and meetings with the contractor to find solutions and overcome the challenges they faced, contractor “Pevallaku & Patista”, has failed to meet its obligations/ages defined in the minutes of the meeting, clauses that had agreed and signed on November 23rd 2021, articles of the “Adents Agreement on Constant” MI. 10598, signed on December 23rd 2021, as well as legalisation of the illegal sub contractor engaged not allowed under international contracts based on FIDIC”wrote Durmish.
