The property tax issue has caused severe clashes between the Government and the opposition in the Parliament.
A statement by Finance Minister Iron Murati, that acts of opposition are not telling the truth in question, namely the fact that the government has increased the tax on property”, has prompted the MP's frustration response, Avdullah Hoti.
This approach, according to former Prime Minister Hoti, is a big mistake. Hoti expressed frustration in this way of speaking from Murati. At one point, Hoti addressed Murat as saying “don't even mention my name or my surname”.
“I don't know if the opposition deputy is left to be offended by this minister. I'm trying to find a solution in the Commission and in his speech, you're leaving space with respect as a man no longer leaves as minister”, he said.
You contact a living man in the ministry. You heard about the bills when we raised it as a problem. What is this communication, don't mention my name or my last name in future communications”, Hoti added.
