Speaking of yesterday's meeting at the US Embassy in Pristina, Hovenier said it has been a good opportunity for the exchange of mutual ideas for association.
We made it clear there too: The first is that the US thinks that now is the time for the Kosovo government to move forward with the Association of Major Serb municipalities. Second, we have made clear that there can be no Republika Srpska and Association should not have executive competence. And third, the US is also stable for Kosovo democratic and independent sovereign state”, the American ambassador said.
He said the US wants to see Kosovo government as well by fulfilling this vision and adhering to these principles.
While the summit's host, Gjakova chairman Ardian Gjini said that with Ambassador Havenier, we have talked about many things about Gjakova and Kosovo.
I think we are the most blessed people to have the support of American democracy and other allies who have been with us. With Ambassador Houvenier we talked about many things about Gjakova for Kosovo, because I think Ambassador Havenier is a diplomat who knows Kosovo's legislation and policy and all that has been done over the past 20 years”, Djind said.
