Havenier: You as Kosovo understand what it's like to be confronted by another power

At the anniversary of the unprotested Russian invasion of Ukraine, ceremonies and activities in Kosovo today have been organised, marking Russia's first anniversary of aggression against Ukraine.

Ambassador of United States of America (SHBA) Jeff Houvenier, today on a anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine, in front of students of the University of Pristina Faculty of Jurydija said they would continue to support Ukraine.

The American diplomat has praised Kosovo and its citizens for actions they have taken to help the people of Ukraine. You have offered everything you could to show where you stand and who you stand with as Kosovo. These actions may seem small, but they can do something bigger”, he said, RTKlive reported.

Houvenier has cited the case of Ukrainian journalists in Kosovo today. You, like Kosovo, have provided shelter for Ukrainians, there are 12 Ukrainian journalists. You've been with us about the sanctions regime. You have offered everything you could to show where you stand and who you stand with as Kosovo. Such actions may seem small, but they can do something bigger. And you here understand what it's like to face violations from another power. And when others try to determine your future. You stayed with us. There is no doubt where the people of Kosovo are staying,”, he said.

Russia is, according to him, threatening global stability and paying the price for it.
