Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has said that he and the AAK are in favour of the Franco-German plan.
He has said they have direct confirmation from the US that Kosovo would support partners.
According to Haradinaj after the final Kosovo agreement, membership will be possible through international organisations.
“We have direct confirmation from the US that with this agreement we will be backed for partnership for peace and for our journey to NATO. For me, the Franco-German plan is acceptable, supported by me and has to do with our key components, walking towards NATO”.
Until we enter into line in contractual relations with NATO, Kosovo is safe. Membership in the Council of Europe and our candidacy towards the EU is unblocked. When we're at the The UN, our path may be difficult, but it may be more advanced if we have started the road to NATO”, the AAK head said, he stated.
